Cub
Scout Day Camp registration begins now. Attached you will find
information regarding Cub Scout Day Camp 2015. The theme this year is
CSI - CUB SCOUT INVESTIGATORS! Day Camp is a lot of fun & the
Scouts complete many of their rank requirements. Your Scout will have
bridged to his next rank before camp starts with a new set of
achievements to tackle. I strongly encourage you to VOLUNTEER &
register your Scout.
As a Pack, we are required to provide:
- 2 full-time volunteers for every 5 Scouts registered during the week of Day Camp (FT positions can be made up of several PT positions)
- at least 1 volunteer to set up Day Camp (Sunday, 6/14)
- at least 1 volunteer to break down Day Camp (Friday, 6/19)
We
need volunteers! Cub Scout Day Camp is run solely by volunteers. It
is not a for-profit summer camp. And it cannot happen without your
help! After 6 years of volunteering full-time, I have found Day Camp to
be a wonderful experience for me & my boys. Don't miss out on this
special time with your Scout! I also highly recommend the Tot Lot if
you have a child 5 & under or the Sibling camp for those over 6
years of age. These programs are tons of fun!
