Specifications: BSA Raingutter Regatta Trimaran boat kit must be used. However, there are no restrictions on length, height, & overall design. Non-propulsion only please. Be creative! Remember stability is key. Test your boat in the bathtub before the Regatta. Cub Scout Standard 10' blow up rain gutters will be used with an approximate depth of 2.5" & width of 4.25" at water level.
Races: This is a non-competitive event. Races will be for fun only. Straws will be provided for blowing. All Scout participants will receive a Raingutter Regatta patch & certificate. Scouts are invited to design, create, & race their own Raingutter Regatta boats. Families are welcome to cheer on their Scouts. Please bring a blanket &/or chairs, your own drinks/snacks, & sunscreen.
